International Payable Support for Mexican pesos and Chinese yuan added

We're excited to bring you two more ways to speed your payments around the world.

We've added support for sending to Mexico in pesos (MXN) and to China in yuan (CNY) via the Routable API. Due to local regulations, vendor Companies created for this use case require slightly more data than a normal international Company.

In Mexico, you will need to add the CLABE, or Clave Bancaria Estandarizada, to the type_details of a vendor's PaymentMethod. If you use the Invite a Company workflow, the vendor will be prompted to add it and you won't need to do anything differently.

Mexican vendors will also need a government_id, depending on what type of Company they are. Companies of type business will require a RFC, whereas personal Companies require a CURP. These values are passed in the government_id field of the Create a Company request.

Chinese vendors wishing to accept yuan (CNY) will also need one additional field in the type_details of their PaymentMethod, cnaps. This references the China National Advanced Payment System number for the vendor's bank account. If you use the Invite a Company workflow, the vendor will be prompted to add it and you won't need to do anything differently.

All of us at Routable look forward to working with all of our partners in a prosperous and innovative 2023!
