New: Spruce up your vendor lists

If you've been using Routable for a while, you've probably created a bunch of Companies that you don't pay anymore. Maybe they went out of business, you changed providers, or they moved on to another service. Maybe you discovered fraud with our awesome new suite of bank account validations and vendor compliance checks. Getting these vendors removed from your List of Companies has long required reaching out to Routable's support team.

Not anymore!

You can now archive a Company right from the Routable API. If you've integrated your Routable Workspace with an accounting software package like QuickBooks Online or NetSuite, you can pass archive_in_accounting_software: true in your payload (on by default), and Routable will even take care of the corresponding archival operation in that application for you. Archived Companies won't show up in most lists, can't be edited or receive Payables, and won't incur ongoing Vendor Compliance Checks, getting them out of your way.

Of course, you might change your mind and decide you want to pay that vendor again after all. Easy! Just use the corresponding unarchive a Company endpoint. Just like with archival, passing unarchive_in_accounting_software: true will bring the Company back into an active status in your ERP, too.
