Contacts that can be the recipient of messages pertaining to the company. You may not send
Receivables to a
Company that does not contain at least one associated
Contact. At least one Contact must be created at the same time as the parent Company, but a company can have contacts added, archived and updated at a later time via the Contacts API.
Examples of when a Contact might receive an email include:
- Being invited to submit their company and banking information.
- Being notified that they've been paid.
To make it easier to work with our APIs, we have
default_contact_* fields that specify which contacts will receive what types of notifications.
